Knockshanvo Grid Connection Planning Application

FuturEnergy Knockshanvo DAC is seeking planning consent from An Bord Pleanála under section 182A of the Planning and Development Act 2000 (as amended) for the associated underground grid connection to the national grid from the proposed Knockshanvo Wind Farm to the ESB Networks substation at Ardnacrusha, Co. Clare. The proposed Knockshanvo Wind Farm is subject to a separate planning application which is being lodged concurrently.

This Strategic Infrastructure Development (SID) project was submitted directly to An Bord Pleanála in August 2024.
